All users of the site are bound by the terms and conditions currently displayed on this page. By using this site you agree to be bound by the legislation currently in force in Eire and that any court case to arise will be under the jurisdiction of Eire.

All aspects of the site are subject to copyright including but no limited to the database, its content and code, images, graphics, text, video content, page layout, trademarks and all words written on the site. It is expressly forbidden to download, copy, extract or manipulate the data on this site. It is also expressly forbidden to include the data in or on ANY other site by linking or any other means without prior written permission of the company. Use of data-mining tools to access and extract data is strictly prohibited and all users are forbidden from storing data from this site in any other form both physical and virtual.

4.2       Advertisers who advertise on the site have agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions and our privacy policy, when the user clicks through to a third party website they agree to be thereafter bound by the terms and conditions of the third party website until they click back to the Home Hippo (Ireland) Ltd company site.

5          Your obligations

5.1       We do not ensure that the site is compatible with your computer. The site is optimized to be compatible with the latest browser software from Internet Explorer and Firefox, the use of any other browser may result in incompatibility with your system. It is your responsibility to ensure that your system is capable of viewing the site and all its features. We cannot be held responsible for browser malfunction.

It is expressly forbidden to ‘deep link’ to the site.

The person who has supplied their details on login are entirely responsible for any content, data and information entered on the site and they will be the person prosecuted if the information does not comply with our privacy policy or the current legislation on information in Eire. If you believe that someone has taken, used or otherwise stolen your user information it is your obligation to notify us immediately or you will be deemed responsible for any breach of these terms and conditions. The company reserves the right to ban any user we deem to be in breach of these terms and conditions. 6          Content

6.3       Upload of property – When the user uploads or enters information into the site they agree that the information they are providing is fair and accurate. They also agree that they have all the necessary permissions, paperwork and deeds in place and that they are the legal owner or appointed legal seller of the property. You may be asked to produce proof of title at any time by the company. The user is forbidden to upload any information that is copyright to another party or that contains inaccuracies. The website will not be liable for any breach of copyright committed by its users. Failure to comply with this will result in the user being banned with no notice. The website reserves the right to amend details of any information contained on the site at any time and at our own discretion. Private users agree that when they upload a property that they are legally within their rights to do so and that they are not breaking a previous contract with an estate agent by doing so. Failure to abide by this will result in the user being banned.

6.4       All users who enter into a legal contract with an owner do so at their own risk, the company urges its users to take independent legal advice before entering into a contract with any seller, it will not be responsible for any claims resulting from such agreements or contracts even verbal agreements. The company is not responsible for any decisions you make which may result in loss of revenue, incurring of damages, loss of business, expenses, loss of reputation, or goodwill or corruption of data. The company is not liable for any communication that results from a first contact made through the website.

7          User information

7.1       By providing the website with your email and contact details you authorize the website to use these to contact you. When you agree to show your contact details on the website you agree for people to use these details to contact you. The company does not take any responsibility for any disputes, legal challenges, or any other issues which may arise from communication between users of the site. By providing your details you agree that you are over 18 years old.

7.2       The website sells products with time limiting factors where a time period is purchased for a product or service. At the end of the purchased time period when a product or service is due to lapse the user will receive an email informing them that they must renew. This is sent via email, the company is not liable for any email that is not delivered under any circumstances including but not limited to database, server, website error by the website. It is the responsibility of the user to ensure that the email contained in their user account is accurate and up to date and that they check their email account regularly. The company is not responsible for any loss of income, profits, reputation, expenses or business in relation to the non delivery of an email reminder to renew a product or service.

7.3       By signing up to the website service providers and estate agents agree to allow the website to publish reviews of your services. These reviews are not moderated by the website except in exceptional circumstances. It is service providers and estate agents responsibility to notify the website immediately if any defamatory, derogatory or libellous comments are posted. The website will act on these under the guidance of the laws of Eire.

 8          For sale/rent signs

8.1       The company is not liable for any placing of a for sale/rent sign that does not comply with current planning permission in the area it is placed.

9.       Refunds

9.1     Payments to advertise properties payable by subscription with Paypal may be cancelled at any time after the first month. To cancel your subscription visit the Paypal website https://www.paypal.com/en_US/ebook/subscriptions/cancellations.html . For advertisers who have paid a single payment to advertise their property we are not able to offer a refund unless we are unable to provide the service as described in these terms and conditions.

10.       Limit of liability

10.1     The company shall not in any way be liable under any circumstances for submissions, or the defamatory, illegal or offensive conduct of any third party or user of the site or any harm or physical damage resulting from the use of this site. The use of this website is at your own risk. The company assumes no responsibility for mistakes, inaccuracies, errors, personal injury, property damage or legal claims which may arise from the use of the site.

11.       Disputes

11.1 All disputes arising from this website will be bound by the laws of Eire and by agreeing to these terms and conditions you agree to be bound by the law of Eire.
